Founded in 2015, Copacetic Beauty Lounge is the creation of Nikki James, a former forensic scientist turned salon owner, in collaboration with her long‑time friend and trusted hair mentor, Missy Browning. Together, they operate with a complementary, yin‑and‑yang approach that supports every aspect of running a successful, welcoming salon—all while staying current and spending part of their time behind the chair. They have both literally and figuratively built a beautiful workspace with a relaxed atmosphere and a team of hand‑selected, organically grown stylists. The staff represents a blend of seasoned professionals and fresh talent who are building their careers in an industry Nikki and Missy not only enjoy, but deeply respect.
